The mission of the Women's Ministry at Grace World Outreach church is for women to encourage, equip, and empower one another. The following ministry areas are included under Women's Ministry.
Women's LIFEHour Class
Third Day Esther’s is an on campus LIFEHOUR class which is held each Sunday from 9:00 – 10:15 am in the Family Life Center. We are studying Beth Moore’s book “Esther - It’s Tough Being a Woman” which is an in-depth and very personal examination applying the story of Esther to today's hurried and pressured lifestyle. If you've ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. This portion of God's Word contains treasures to equip and PUSH us into our God ordained "DESTINY" in HIM. Join us for Third Day Esther’s where women Encourage, Equip and Empower each other. This class is lead by Pastor Nellie Garcia.
Titus Touch Ministry
The Titus Touch Program is an intense 2 1/2 year discipleship program covering a 9 book series by the 100-fold ministry of Lisa Santagate. This Ministry is designed to teach women the principles of God's word and make a commitment to share with others the same experiences they have learned. Titus 2:3-5 "Older women similarly are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor addicted to much wine, teaching what is right and good, 4 so that they may encourage the young women to tenderly love their husbands and their children, 5 to be sensible, pure, makers of a home [where God is honored], good-natured, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored."
We currently have about 10 mentor groups. Mentor groups meet once a month typically in the homes of the mentor leader or at the church. The focus of the mentor groups is to build a close bond between women while spending time in God's word and growing together. We allow for the leading of the holy spirit during these gatherings and pray for one another's needs. When a crisis arises the mentors are the first point of contact in the women's lives.
1st Friday Prayer Service
A corporate church prayer service is held the 1st Friday of every month at 7pm for families including both men, women, youth and children to attend. For more Grace World prayer opportunities please visit our prayer page.
Tuesday Morning Prayer Service
Our Tuesday Morning Prayer Service is held at 9:30 am each week and is designed to spend time in deep worship and intercession to God praying for known needs and for our nation and community.
Mary's Heart and Martha's Hands Ministry
The goal of this ministry is to provide meals to families during crisis situations such as death and during sicknesses. Specifically in the event of an ongoing or critical illness which requires hospitalization we will provide 3 meals for the family during this time. In the event of a death the ministry will help coordinate a meal for up to 50 people at the church after the funeral service or provide 3 days worth of meals for up to 20 people in the home of the family - it is the families preference to choose what meets their need best. In the event a funeral meal would be needed for more than 50 people other ministries within the church would be expected to assist, for example if the death was someone involved in the choir then the media ministry would assist and so on.
