Friendsgiving

Recent headlines have shared that many families across America will be skipping the traditional Thanksgiving meal as food prices continue to increase. In times like these, I am thankful for a church family that sees a need, meets a need and consistently steps up to help and serve others.

This Sunday is our annual Friendsgiving Outreach. We have invited those who registered for turkeys to join us for service.  We are expecting many new families this weekend for the outreach. Look for opportunities to share the love of Jesus with our friends!

I will be sharing an evangelistic sermon entitled. “Message From The Mayflower”.  Our forefathers gave us a foundation for true liberty. Today, many believe freedom can be obtained outside of a solid biblical foundation. The sad reality is that all other foundations are sinking sand. I believe this message will speak to many and will be another great opportunity for you to invite a friend or family member.

After service, our church family is providing over 350 bags of groceries complete with a whole turkey and sides needed for a Thanksgiving meal to families in need over the holiday. Wow, that’s incredible! Grace, thank you for simply showing Jesus to our community. You are making a difference!

Jenna and I are truly thankful for you and wish you a blessed and happy Thanksgiving week!
