Immeasurably More!

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…” Ephesians 3:20

As we step into a new year, we do so with great thanksgiving for all the Lord has done and anticipation for all that God has purposed ahead for us. Over the last few months, I have been praying into the coming year. I have heard the Lord say, “2023 is the year that I will answer the prayer, ‘more Lord!’ ” I began sharing with our team that 2023 is a year of more and encouraging them to believe for more, to go for more, and to elevate everything we do for Him. Two weeks ago, during our final Midweek Fire service of the year, the Lord gave me Ephesians 3:20 and then I heard Him say, “2023 is the year of immeasurably more!”

If 2022 was the year to awaken the pioneer, then let 2023 be the year that the pioneers push the boundaries and manmade limitations and believe God for immeasurably more in the coming year!  

I will be releasing a prophetic word on Sunday, January 8th called, “Strike the Ground.” I believe 2023 will be a year that many will say, “I prospered in supernatural ways in a season no one thought it was possible.”  2023 will be a year to strike the ground with greater faith and boldness and see the immeasurably more God has already written into the days ahead.

To prepare our church family for 2023, I invite you to join with us in setting aside the first week of January for prayer and fasting. Our fellowship with the Assemblies of God has also called a nationwide time of prayer and fasting. Included in this email is a prayer guide to help focus our prayers during this time. Each day of the first week of the new year, I will send a prayer message out from my personal Facebook page. Let us begin this new year in prayer and devotion towards our God. Let us believe for a year of immeasurably more!

WEEK OF PRAYER – JANUARY 1-7, 2023

AWAKENING

“After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly” (Acts 4:31).

SUNDAY – CONSISTENCY

Ask God to help us be faithful and steadfast in prayer.

MONDAY – COMPASSION

Pray for a heart of understanding that reaches out to those in need.

TUESDAY – SIGNS & WONDERS

Pray for miracles and healings that demonstrate God’s power to our unbelieving world. 

WEDNESDAY – UNITED PRAYER

Along with a consistent prayer life, pray that believers will be unified in love as we seek God together.

THURSDAY – GLOBAL CONNECTION

Pray for fellow Christians around the world to stand firm even as they face persecution for their faith. 

FRIDAY – INTERCESSION & EVANGELISM

Pray for the Holy Spirit’s strength to persist in prayer and for boldness to share the gospel with those who need Christ.

SATURDAY – PASSING REVIVAL TO THE NEXT GENERATION

Pray for the Holy Spirit to capture the hearts of our children and teens so that they will passionately pursue Jesus.
