We Say Yes!!!

At the end of last year, our church graciously pledged over $2.3 million towards our “We Say YES!” campaign. It was a resounding statement of faith towards preparing our campus for the current and future growth of our community and church. If you haven’t seen the project or heard the vision, I encourage you to take a moment to visit the campaign page at this link.

I wanted to write to you today to celebrate an important milestone we just reached. This week, we crossed the $500,000 mark in the giving towards the campaign. Not only did we cross the mark, but we have also far exceeded it. As of today, we are at $572,953 that has been sown into the project. This has all taken place in the first six months of the campaign. This is incredible and worthy of celebration!

I have been humbled and thrilled to hear the stories of so many families, businessmen and women, and individuals that have shared with me how God has blessed not only their faith but also in their giving. We will be sharing some of those new “YES-timonies” with you soon! Even as you watch negative news stories of doom and gloom in the world around us it’s so incredible to see God‘s faithfulness and Kingdom at work. It is true, His economy is not like the world’s!

In the weeks to come, I’m looking forward to sharing a start date for the beginning of construction. Already you can see that work has been done to clear out the pond on our property. We have been regularly meeting with our architects, contractors, and city planners to take care of all of the preliminary work that is necessary to begin.

This Sunday, we are excited to celebrate our first graduating class of SUM! We are so proud of each of these students who have worked passionately in their studies to be sent out to fulfill the call of God on their lives.

Also, please remember the Grunberg family in your prayers as they grieve the homegoing of Michael. Michael and Teresa have been faithful members and ministers in our church family for many years. Michael served on our baptism team, prison ministry, evangelism teams, and was a swordsman with our G-men. He will be greatly missed and celebrated. His celebration of life service will take place Saturday, June 25th at 11 am here at the church.

Jenna and I love this church and each of you. Thank you for being faithful.
