What a Week at Grace!

Last weekend kicked off with 115 men gathered for our Flannel and Flapjacks Men’s breakfast. It was an incredible time continuing to equip and encourage the men of Grace. I strongly believe that if you want to shift and change a family, and the community, you have to reach the men. It’s such a strong, growing healthy men’s ministry here at Grace World and I’m excited to be a part of it. Men, I’m looking forward to the next event at the beginning of next year.

Our “Light the Night” outreach was also a tremendous success! We set up tents, handed out candy, hot dogs and water bottles from three strategic locations within growing communities across Hernando County. We also had eight additional smaller locations anchored by families from the church. In total, we reached between 3,000-4,000 households!

The expression of love and light shining throughout our community from Grace World touched families.

One of my favorite moments Pastor Jacob shared with me was the fact that there were multiple families that came to the event and said they were new to the area and had not yet found a church. Their response blew me away. They said, “thank you for making this easy for us.” Wow! All because so many of you were willing to take the light and hope of Jesus to where the people were.

Grace World, you displayed what the church is meant to be; a light in the darkness. You continue to encourage me as I see the way that you love on our community. Grace truly is a church for the whole family.

This weekend we welcome Evangelist Robert Martin back to Grace. He is well loved by this house and always brings a life giving message. It will be a great Sunday. Afterwards, our Royal Rangers are hosting a BBQ lunch fundraiser for $10 a plate. Come ready to get fed, spiritually, and physically.
