Worthy Is The Lamb!

What an incredible Resurrection weekend!

857 adults and 239 kids were on our campus celebrating our risen Savior!

Sunday’s message was a reminder that each one of us have a Friday story and that Sunday’s coming! There is no grave deep enough and no darkness dark enough to prevent Jesus from coming out of the grave! His story became our story and because He lives, we live! During the outreach on Saturday, 2 people gave their lives to Jesus. On Sunday, over 35 responded to the altar call in the dome and Grace Kids saw many children say yes to Jesus! We celebrate each person who found their Sunday story.

Grace Kids experienced an amazing day with over 200 kids, 50 leaders, and 15+ new families!  Pastor Jacob said that the greatest part was seeing kids encounter a fun creator that loves them and has a purpose for their lives. For some of the kids, this was their first time to be at any church. The day was full of fun, a glow hunt, and candy, but the most important thing is that the Gospel was presented and kids gave their lives to Jesus. One little girl smiled at the end and said, “I like your version of Easter the most!” Meaning that the Resurrection was better than the bunny. Come on, somebody!

On Wednesday, Ascend hosted their Fine Arts night. The place was packed as our Midweek Fire service joined with Ascend to celebrate students who presented original songs, preached short sermons, sang and showcased their original photos and artwork. We are so proud of each student and what God is doing in this generation!

This Sunday I will be starting a series entitled, “Roots: Reconnecting With Biblical Truth.” In an age of deconstruction and moral relativism there has never been a more important time to be rooted in truth and knowing what you believe and why you believe it. I am looking forward to sharing it with you.

Also, immediately following the service on Sunday, we will be hosting another Grace Leadership Academy interest meeting. Governor DeSantis recently passed the School Choice Bill which makes private education a possibility for families. This is an exciting development as we launch GLA for this upcoming school year. Enrollment is already open and students are already registering for the upcoming school year. If you would like to find out more information, please join us in the FLC.

Jenna and I love you and are praying for you. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

Immeasurably More,

Pastor
